GARLIC SHRIMP DELIGHT
Big taste packed into a small package.
GARLIC SHRIMP RECIPE INGREDIENTS
¾ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbs olive oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tbs white wine
2 tbs parsley, minced
GARLIC SHRIMP RECIPE DIRECTIONS
In a skillet, heat olive oil, garlic and pepper flakes.
As the garlic starts to brown, add shrimp.
Stir and continue to cook for another few minutes until shrimp is cooked and pink.
Add lemon juice, wine and parsley to the shrimp.
Stir to combine and serve immediately.
In a deep fryer or pan, heat canola oil to 350F and fry shrimp until nicely browned.
Each shrimp will take around 4 minutes.
Set aside to drain off oil, and then serve.

GRILLED SHRIMP RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup olive oil
¼ tomato sauce
2 tbs red wine vinegar
2 tbs fresh basil, chopped
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
GRILLED SHRIMP RECIPE DIRECTIONS
First marinate the shrimp.
Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, and stir to ensure the shrimp is well coated.
Let sit in the fridge for at least half an hour.
An hour or two would be best.
Stir periodically to keep the shrimp covered and marinating.
When ready to grill, thread shrimp on skewers and cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
They should be pink and solid, no longer gray.
Leftover marinade should not be used as a sauce, because of the contact with raw shrimp.
A second batch can be made for that purpose.
DELICIOUS SHRIMP CHOWDER
Thick, rich and satisfying. A wonderful way to warm up from the inside out.
SHRIMP CHOWDER RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 lb potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 onions, chopped
1 sweet red pepper, chopped
4 cups water
1 can creamed corn
1 can kernel corn, drained
1 cup cream
1 cup milk
½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
SHRIMP CHOWDER RECIPE DIRECTIONS
In a large soup pot, add potatoes, onions and pepper along with the water.
Heat to a boil, then bring it down to just a simmer.
Cook for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are getting tender.
Add both creamed and kernel corn, as well as the cream and milk.
Simmer for another 20 minutes.
Stir in shrimp, and continue to cook until the shrimp is cooked and pink.
